On Monday, August 24, 2026, Council set the date for consideration (September 21, 2026) for a proposed Development Variance Permit No. 26-067 for 1018 Pound Road to construct a Youth Hub facility in Ambleside Park. The proposed Youth Hub requires zoning variances for floor area, height of a retaining wall, and highest building face. The Youth Hub facility is proposed to be located on approximately the same foot print as the previous building in the southeast corner of Ambleside Park.
